HHS is committed to offering students a safe and welcoming environment in which to learn. In order to nurture a positive culture at HHS, we will be offering students a special FLEX period on April 20 at 10:00 AM.
Washington’s Kindergarten classes visited two local businesses in March to see how natural, human, and man-made resources work together to create a product.
Hanover Public School District will administer the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) tests for students in grades 3-8 as follows in April 2018: ELA 3 sections, April 10-12 Math 2 sections, April 17-18 Science 2 sections, April 24-25 (Grades 4 and 8 only) Educational Trips will not be approved during the testing window.
Throughout the school year, students are recognized for their efforts to model our three school rules, Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible! For our most recent March reward students were “treated” to Sweet Frog frozen yogurt and their own personal limo ride!
Mark your calendars! Performances are April 13th and 14th at 7pm, and April 15th at 2pm. Tickets in advance are $7 for students and $8 for adults and are available at the high school office during school hours.
A group of seventh grade STEAM students recently advanced to the Pennsylvania State Computer Fair after receiving 1st place in the digital movie making category at the regional competition.
