Students in Advanced Placement literature 12 read Ray Bradbury’s “The Veldt”, a cautionary tale in which a pride of virtual lions savagely make their presence known to the characters.
Beginning in the spring semester, Hanover High School will be one of the first schools in the US to offer a drone piloting course, Students will learn how to construct a drone, fly a drone, basic repairs of a drone, as well as deconstruction of a drone.
HMS 8th Graders recently had the opportunity to visit Hanover High School. Students were taken on a tour of the building and were able to visit the mechatronics lab, entertainment technology classrooms, metals lab, art classrooms, culinary classrooms, and the ILC.
The honorary Hawk program began at HPSD several years ago. It is named to congratulate a 4th grade student for having a wonderful week. This includes great attendance, a hard work ethic, and a wonderful attitude to learn.
The 3rd and 4th grade choral and instrumental students were able to perform a wonderful concert on Thursday, Jan 9th at 7:00 pm at Hanover High School Auditorium.
7th Grade students in Mrs. Malvone’s Family Consumer Science (FCS) class work on refining their culinary skills! After studying a recipe and assigning responsibilities, students worked together to make pizza bread.
