Recently, the fourth graders at Hanover St. Elementary read a selection about how children can make a difference in their communities. The question, “How can we make a difference?” was posed, and after much discussion, students decided to raise money and donate that money to a homeless shelter in Hanover. Our fourth grade classes at Hanover St., led by Fourth Grader Lane Smith, presented a check for $203.00 to Mrs. Hinkle, the representative from a Hanover shelter, Changing Lives. We are very proud of our Fourth Graders for making a difference in our community!
