For Parents of Current 8th – 11th Grade Students

Nothing is more important to the academic success of our high school students than the support of their family, and the selection of courses that are customized to meet their long-term goals. On the evening of Thursday, February 28 at 6:30 PM, Hanover High School will have a Course Selection Orientation. This evening will provide you with a look at the graduation requirements, and some recommended sequences of courses your child should follow based on their educational and career goals.

Parents will also get information regarding the Advanced Placement courses we offer at Hanover High School, as well as a large selection of elective courses designed to appeal to the interests and career goals of our students. You will have the opportunity to speak to a representative teacher from each department who can answer any questions you may have about the courses that are offered.

We believe getting your students off to a good start by selecting the courses that are best suited for them is the first step in having a successful high school experience. Please join us in partnering with you to ensure that your student gets an education that is customized to meet their individual needs. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Hanover High School at 717-637-9000.

I look forward to seeing you there.
