8th-grade students started the year exploring virtual reality (VR) in their combined Art and STEAM course. After this exploration, the students had the opportunity to create their own VR environment. The students selected a famous piece of art to recreate with a partner. Each student recreated half of a masterwork and then brainstormed ideas on how to extend their work. The team worked hard to create a piece that lined up and then they took a VR image using a 360-degree camera.
