Second graders love to reinforce what we learn in Science and Mathematics through the creative opportunities that STEAM Days allow. Our focus at this point in the year is addition fluency and measuring lengths. These pictures show some of the projects we have collaborated on recently! In December, students could create the tallest cup stack Christmas tree, or the strongest Shelf for the Elf. We also love to have STEAM bins available for students to get creative if/when they finish tasks early.
