The Hanover Public School District is excited to welcome you and your child to our school!

Please call to make an appointment for registration at the building your child will attend. Appointments can be made starting Monday, February 2, 2026 by calling the school at 717-637-9000:

Ext. 1000 – Clearview Elementary

Ext. 2000 – Hanover Street Elementary

Ext. 3000 – Washington Elementary

Once you make an appointment, a registration packet will be mailed to your home address. This packet must be completed and returned, by the Parent/Guardian, to the school during your appointment time on March 11, 2026.

In addition to the completed registration packet, you will also need to provide the following documents to be photocopied on the day of your appointment:

Proof of Age - Birth Certificate, Baptismal Record, Valid Passport (Student must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026)

Current Immunization Record - Doctor’s Office Record

Parent / Legal Guardian Identification – Driver’s License, Valid Passport or State Issued Photo Identification Card

     (Parent enrolling student must show identification)

Proof Of Residency - Provide ONE of the following: Deed, Lease, Property Tax Bill, Gas Bill or Electric Bill

                (This is to verify which building your child will attend)

Custody or Court Order Documents (Foster Care, Adoption)

During your appointment, your child will meet with one of our teachers for some academic assessments and a speech therapist will also complete a speech assessment.
