Commencement ceremonies were held in the auditorium of HHS on Thursday, May 30, 2019. Congratulations goes out to the students who crossed the stage to become our newest alumni. A special congratulations to Elaine Greenfield, Valedictorian, and Emily Hamm, Salutatorian of the class of 2019. Not only did these fine Nighthawks achieve the highest grade point average, but they did so taking the most rigorous courses that high school has to offer. Congratulations to both of them for this outstanding and hard-earned achievement.

The 2016 Hanover High School Oak Leaf Award was given to Matthew Hutton and Emily Hamm. The Oak Leaf award is a prestigious and unique award in that it is given to a young man and young woman who consistently display outstanding character. Both Matthew and Emily are truly outstanding role models for all future Nighthawks to emulate. Congratulations to both of these exceptional students.

Congratulations to the students who earned credentials in Diversified Occupations, Culinary, Music Technology, Welding, Machining, and Early Childhood Education. Those names, and other accomplishments are listed in the Graduation Program attached below.

Collectively the class of 2019 was awarded over 2 million dollars in scholarships. This is an impressive achievement for a class of 110 students, and is a great illustration of the remarkable achievements earned by the students of Hanover High School.
