The Church was an integral part of the community in the 1950's. Baccalaureate, a farewell address in the form of a sermon delivered to a graduating class, proceeded graduation ceremonies. Hanover had many Protestant denominations and a large Roman Catholic community within the Borough limits and to the west of the town in McSherrystown, just over the county line. Below are church bulletins from 1953 and 1954. Click on the right side of the thumbnails for the cover of each church bulletin. Click on the left side of each thumbnail for the liturgy found inside the cover. These digital copies are in photographic format; therefore text cannot be copied directly.
