Larry E. Raubenstine

Titusville, Florida

Larry and his wife, Kathy, live in Titusville, Fl. He and Kathy met on a blind date and were married in 1984. He has a son, Kris, and two daughters, Kandie and Krystal, and one stepdaughter, Sabrina. He has five grandchildren and four step grandchildren. Larry was a plant manager for RUS in Hanover and is now retired. Kathy was a Pharmacy Tech at Hanover Hospital, and she is also retired. Larry’s hobbies are travel, flying, and boating.  He also enjoys spending time at the Country Club where he is on the Board of Directors.

He was fortunate to be able to retire early, and spent his first year boating on the Chesapeake Bay, and then taking his boat down the Intracoastal Waterway (life  long dream). He spent the winter in Florida. He then sold the boat and traded his old bus on a newer entertainer style bus. He sold his home and lived on the bus traveling for three years. He tried to find the right place to call home. He found a condo at La Cita Country Club in Titusville, Fl. which is where he and Kathy live now.

He enjoys attending NASCAR races, major league baseball games, college and high school sports events, live performances of major entertainers, Broadway type musical performances, county fairs, and events his children and grandchildren are in.

He sometimes thinks about the good old days when there was “less stress.” What does he like about the 2000’s? “Retirement.”

He is proud of all that he has done in his life. Most of all, he is proud of his children and grandchildren.

His advice to his fellow classmates: “Don’t sit at home and wait for the sun to rise and set. Explore our beautiful country and meet the great people that live there.”

Larry spent nine years in the National Guard. He has an Associate Degree from Penn State’s York Extension, and Kathy completed Pharmacy training.
