Julie (Mudge) Caruso

Spring Grove, Pa.

Julie and her husband, Ted, live in Spring Grove, Pa. They met at the Hanover Little Theatre performing in the play, “Ready When You Are C.B.” She has two children, and two stepdaughters, and Julie and Ted have a total of five grandchildren. Julie has been a homemaker and she also worked part time for J.P. Jewelers. She is now retired. Ted is in real estate sales for Long and Foster.

Her hobbies are, “Piano playing (such as it is) and reading.” She is very active in her church where she participates in Bible study, sings in the choir and ensemble, plays in the bell choir, and serves as a Prayer Team coordinator. Julie is also a board member of the Tender Care Pregnancy Center, and she helps at PAL lunches.

She thinks about the good old days sometimes, and she has fond memories of the Mau Dra, cheerleading, and the more relaxed pace of life in general. She does appreciate the computer and she says, “I love to play bridge on the Game Zone with people from around the world.”

Julie’s message to her classmates is an old Irish blessing …

“May the sun always shine on your windowpane.”

“May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain.”

“May the hand of a friend always be near you.”

“May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.”
