She was a secretary for the Hanover Public School District.

Her hobbies were her grandchildren, and writing poetry and short stories.

Her daughter Wanda said ….

“I think most of all my mother would want to be remembered for her love and dedication to her family and friends. She always made time for the important things in life like coloring with her grandchildren or taking them for a bike ride.”

“She was the best counselor I have ever known, and family and friends alike would seek her guidance with problems both large and small. She never turned anyone away as she truly lived, God first, others second, and herself last.”

“My mother loved to sing in the choir and a favorite song of hers, ‘One Day at a Time’, became her motto, shared by example with those whose lives she touched.”
