8th Grade Social Studies classes at the Hanover Middle School do not look or sound like your typical social studies class. Yes, you will still hear discussions taking place about early civilizations, cultural diffusion, and causes and results of famous wars, but you will also see students actively engaged in experiencing how people from the past spent their leisure time.
Children from the community were recently invited into the art room at HHS and participated creating a painting, led by high school members of the National Art Honor Society.
Wednesday, October 14, Washington Elementary’s second graders visited the Susan Byrnes Center in York to learn about self esteem and bullying prevention. The students had the opportunity to participate in activities using teamwork and giving compliments.
Over 110 Hanover High School APEURO, AP ART, World History Students and Mandigral Performers visited the PA Renaissance Fair to experience the History, Culture, and Art of the Renaissance.
