For the past two weeks, our kindergarten class has been learning all about American symbols. These symbols included the bald eagle, American Flag, Statue of Liberty, Liberty Bell, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and the White House.
First graders are off to a great start in their Guided Reading Groups!!! Mrs. Sheaffer and Miss Schlechter lead groups that focus on developing their literacy skills involving reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary and more!

Students in 3rd and 4th grade had an unexpected visitor on Wednesday, October 5, 2016. Mark Twain (Charles Kiernan) stopped in to discuss his boyhood, farm life, slavery, medicine and doctors, schooling, hunting, even snakes.
