On April 12th, 13th, and 14th at Hanover High School, as we celebrate the 85th anniversary of the classic 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, you can SEE all of your favorite characters, HEAR all your favorite songs, and EXPERIENCE the classic story of The Wizard of Oz LIVE on stage, as performed by a cast of over 60 HPSD students from all grade levels! We’ll also have a furry canine actor playing the role of TOTO! You won’t want to miss this spectacular show, filled with stunning and creative visual and special effects, breathtaking costumes and sets, and a truly immersive audience experience! The EPIC nature of the tale of Dorothy and her 3 friends, the Scarecrow, Tinman, and Lion will both thrill you and warm your heart as they make their way to the Emerald City to see the one and only Wizard of Oz, who helps Dorothy to realize that the most important things to her are home and family. Performances are April 12 @ 7pm, April 13 @ 2pm, April 13 @ 7pm, April 14 @ 2pm. Tickets are $7 for students in advance and $8 for adults in advance. Tickets are $9 for students at the door and $10 for adults at the door.
