The Hanover Public School District will administer the Keystone Exams to select High School students in May 2015. The Keystone Examinations are standardized Pennsylvania State assessment exams designed to evaluate student proficiency in a variety of subject areas. For the 2014-2015 school year, Keystone Exams are offered in: Algebra , Literature and Biology. Testing dates are outlined below:

Literature- May 13 & 14 Biology- May 19 & 20 Algebra - May 21 & 22

Please note that not every student is scheduled to take each exam. You will receive a personalized letter letting you know your child’s exam and exam date.

Individual student test results will be sent to the school and maintained as part of your child’s school records, and copies will also be sent home. The building results from the State Assessment will be utilized to plan for your child’s education.

Please support your child in achieving the very best on the Keystone Exam by encouraging him/her to get plenty of rest, eat a good breakfast, and arrive at school on time. Please attempt to insure your child is in attendance at school during the dates of these tests to maintain the integrity of the tests.
