For many years the town's center square was actually a circle. Originally it contained a outdoor market building. Additional information at the Barbara Chronister Collection on Center Square and surrounding streets.

It was reproduced in three scans causing a slight variation in shading. The right side of the picture was towards the inside of the roll and there are stress marks. However, the poorer resolution results from the original photograph, not the processing of the card.
