Hanover Public School District is seeking substitute teachers. The daily rate for substitutes is $95.00. State Law requires the new employees submit to criminal, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint background checks. Clearances must be dated within one year of board approval. A TB test is required and must be dated within three months of board approval. Federal law requires that a new employee must complete Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9) in person. If you wish to be placed on our substitute teacher list, please send the following items to the above address: PA standard application, resume, letter of interest, transcripts, copy of teaching certificate, background clearances, and TB test results. If selected you will receive some training, including classroom visits, talks with teachers, and techniques to deal with today's students. You will also review effective teaching tips and tools for the use of technology, and complete necessary background clearances.
