Various 4th grade students at Washington Elementary School begin to clean up our school garden. These students were chosen after they wrote meaningful stories in their daily journals why they wanted to be chosen to clean up the garden. These boys love to help in many ways to help keep "their" school looking great for all to enjoy!

The Hanover High School English Department recently hosted a field trip to the Gamut Theater in downtown Harrisburg to see William Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Students were treated to a theatrical performance produced in the theater in the round style. After studying the play in English classes, students saw the play come alive and witnessed the artistic vision of the director who performed Shakespeare's five act play with only five actors. Macbeth’s universal themes resonated with the students and sparked an informative and lively discussion after the show with the actors, director, stage crew, and prop designers. Thanks to all students who attended this educational trip.
